Sam Allardyce's first opponents as England manager will be Croatia, according to reports.
The 61-year-old was appointed by the Football Association last week on a two-year deal.
It was announced that Allardyce will mark the start of his spell with the Three Lions on September 1 in a friendly at Wembley.
Widespread reports in the British media have claimed that Croatia will be in the away dugout for that match, which is scheduled for three days before England's 2018 World Cup qualifier against Slovakia.
Allardyce, who was just nine months into a spell in charge of Sunderland when he took the England job, is expected to name Sammy Lee and Paul Clement as his assistant coaches today.
