Jonjo Shelvey and Jack Butland have earned call-ups to the England squad for their upcoming Euro 2016 qualifiers in September against San Marino and Switzerland.
The Swansea City midfielder returns to the Three Lions' squad for the first time since winning his only cap in 2012, while the Stoke City keeper comes back into the fold after a three-year absence from the national side.
Leicester City forward Jamie Vardy is also in Roy Hodgson's squad amid claims that he racially abused a man in a casino earlier this month, while he has notched two goals for the Foxes in the current campaign.
Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is unavailable due to injury along with Arsenal duo Danny Welbeck and Jack Wilshere, while Manchester United defender Phil Jones is also absent.
However, Red Devils duo Luke Shaw and Michael Carrick are both in the squad, with Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane also returns after missing the international matches in the summer while he was playing in the European Under-21s Championships.
