Theo Walcott: 'England can beat anybody'

Theo Walcott believes that England have nothing to fear ahead of Sunday's quarter-final against Italy.

Theo Walcott has claimed that England do not fear any of the teams remaining in the European Championship.

Roy Hodgson's side face Italy on Sunday for a place in the semi-finals but Walcott insists that England are confident of beating any team.

The Arsenal winger said: "It now doesn't matter who you play against in this competition — they will all be difficult.

"I'm not going to say we can win this tournament but we've got a great chance, like other teams.

"Playing Spain, the world and European champions, would have been difficult, but we'll take anyone now because we believe we can beat anybody."

Walcott has yet to start a match during England's Euro 2012 campaign.
