Paul Pogba, Andrea Pirlo and Claudio Marchisio to miss Juventus's visit from Empoli

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri confirms that Andrea Pirlo, Paul Pogba and Claudio Marchisio will miss the visit from Empoli on Saturday.

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed that he will be without the midfield trio of Andrea Pirlo, Paul Pogba and Claudio Marchisio when his side play Empoli this weekend.

The Serie A leaders host Empoli on Saturday without the influential trio, although Carlos Tevez could feature.

Allegri told reporters: "Carlos is in good shape and not feeling the effects of jet lag, he'll play. But Andrea Pirlo will miss the Empoli game, as will Claudio Marchisio and Paul Pogba.

"There are plenty of question marks hanging over the team. I'll have a good look at training [on Friday]."

Juve are currently six points above Roma in Italy's top tier.
