Manchester United are reportedly keeping tabs on Dundee United starlet Ryan Gauld.

The 17-year-old attacking midfielder has become a regular fixture in the Terrors first team this season, scoring five goals in 14 appearances.

Gauld, who has been watched by Real Madrid, Newcastle United, Liverpool and Everton in the past, made his debut for Scotland's Under-21s on Thursday.

According to The People, Red Devils boss David Moyes sent coach Jimmy Lumsden to scout Gauld during the Young Scots' 1-1 draw with Georgia in Paisley.

The paper also claims that Dundee United value Gauld at around £5m.
