Inverness Caledonian Thistle lead Dundee United 1-0 at half time at Tannadice thanks to Billy McKay's goal.

The away side arrived on the back of a 3-0 win last weekend and took the lead after 20 minutes through McKay.

Proceedings became heated after several strong challenges with cautions being handed out as the game lost its fluency.

As a result, United were unable to get back on level terms as the game became scrappy with the half-time interval approaching.
