Manchester United's Federico Macheda signs Doncaster Rovers loan deal

Doncaster Rovers have signed Manchester United striker Federico Macheda on a one-month loan deal.

The Championship club have the option to extend the 22-year-old Italian's deal by a further month when it expires.

The forward is expected to be part of the Doncaster squad for Tuesday night's trip to Watford in the league.

Macheda penned his first professional deal with United in 2008 but has spent the last few seasons on loan at Sampdoria, Queens Park Rangers and Stuttgart.
