Andy Reid earns Nottingham Forest a point

Nottingham Forest hold Doncaster Rovers to a 2-2 draw in their Championship clash at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Andy Reid scored a late equaliser to earn Nottingham Forest a point from their Championship match against Doncaster Rovers.

Reid had the first opportunity of the game for the visitors but he saw his effort from the edge of the box saved by Ross Turnbull.

The away side continued to threaten with Turnbull saving from Jamie Mackie before Reid saw his deflected volley fly over.

Federico Macheda gave the home side the lead in the 34th minute when he finished past goalkeeper Karl Darlow.

Chris Cohen fired in an equaliser for Forest six minutes before half time with a strike from long range.

Macheda scored his second goal of the game shortly after the break when he slotted home a pass from Richie Wellens.

Forest drew level for the second time with nine minutes to go when Reid fired past Turnbull.

Jamie Paterson should have won it for the visitors moments later but he hit his effort straight at the keeper from close range.
