Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk defender Ivan Strinic has revealed that he will be making his way to Serie A to play for Napoli.
The full-back's contract with the Ukrainian club expires on December 31 and he has been previously linked with move to the Italian outfit.
The deal is still yet to be confirmed and finalised, but Strinic has claimed that the move will go ahead.
"It's true, I'm about to sign a contract with Napoli, but it's not yet all defined," the 27-year-old said, according to Goal.com.
"If all goes well, and I think that'll be the case, the signing will come soon."
Napoli's first-choice left-back Camilo Zuniga is currently out with injury, while manager Rafael Benitez will be without second-choice Faouzi Ghoulam, who is set to play in the Africa Cup of Nations throughout January.
