Derby County manager Steve McClaren is confident that new signing Jesse Lingard will aid the promotion-chasing Rams in their quest for the Premier League.
McClaren signed the Manchester United attacker on loan for the rest of the season on deadline day.
Lingard started Louis van Gaal's first Premier League game in charge of the Red Devils, and McClaren is confident that he has an "exciting talent" on his hands.
"Jesse is an exciting talent and someone that we are looking forward to working with," he told the club's official website.
"He strengthens the attacking options that we can call upon and given we've lost Jordon Ibe and Johnny Russell in the last few weeks.
"It was important to strengthen in that particular area of the side."
County sit level on points with top-of-the table Bournemouth in the Championship.
