Former Chelsea player Frank Lampard has admitted that he is in talks with Derby County over the vacant manager's job.
The Blues' all-time leading goalscorer has made it clear that he wishes to become a coach since retiring in 2017.
Derby are on the search for a new manager after Gary Rowett took over at Championship side Stoke City following their relegation from the Premier League.
Lampard was also reportedly in the running for the Ipswich Town job, but Sky Sports News claims that the Englishman will not be joining the Suffolk club.
Since retiring, Lampard has served as a regular pundit on BT Sport.
