Jake Buxton scored deep into added time to give Derby County victory in the East Midlands derby and pile more misery on Nottingham Forest this evening.
The first half saw little action as both sides failed to take hold of the encounter.
Adlene Guedioura wasted the best chance of the match ten minutes into the second half by blazing over after finding space in the area.
As the game drew to a close Forest forward Marcus Tudgay was dismissed for a second bookable offence before the Rams nicked it through Buxton.
Three minutes of the added-on eight had been played when Ben Davies whipped over a free kick from the left, which found the towering Buxton who headed past Lee Camp.
Three points for the Rams means they climb to 13th while Forest remain 20th, four points clear of the drop zone.
