Roberto Mancini's son Andrea joins DC United

Ex-Manchester City and Oldham Athletic centre-forward Andrea Mancini agrees a contract with MLS outfit DC United.

DC United have completed the signing of Andrea Mancini.

The 23-year-old, who is the son of Inter Milan head coach Roberto, has most recently been on the books of Szombathelyi Haladas.

However, following his release by the Hungarian outfit, the forward has now agreed a deal at the RFK Stadium.

"Andrea impressed us in pre-season with his technical proficiency and tactical understanding. We look forward to seeing him develop with the rest of our group," said general manager Dave Kasper.

Mancini junior has previously turned out for Manchester City at reserve level and Oldham Athletic.
