Former England striker Daniel Sturridge is reportedly being monitored by Major League Soccer duo Inter Miami and DC United.
The 31-year-old has been a free agent for just over a year since his release from Turkish side Trabzonspor and is now looking to resurrect his career.
According to the Daily Mirror, Sturridge is wanted by David Beckham's Inter Miami side – who have recently signed Englishman Kieran Gibbs – as well as DC United, who were able to recruit Wayne Rooney for a brief spell between June 2018 and October 2019.
Sturridge won 26 caps for the England national team and is regarded as a hugely gifted striker with a natural goalscoring ability.
The former Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City forward would be a huge coup for the MLS if he were to join up before the 2021 campaign begins in April.
During his time with Trabzonspor, Sturridge made 16 appearances in all competitions, scoring seven goals.
