Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly set to do battle for the signature of Crystal Palace forward Alexander Sorloth.
The Norway international is currently plying his trade on loan at Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor, where he notched up an impressive 33 goals from 49 matches across all competitions last season.
Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho has announced his desire to bring in a new striker during the transfer window, having recently welcomed Gareth Bale back to the club on loan from Real Madrid.
According to Turkish outlet Asist Analiz, United and Spurs are both keen to end Sorloth's underwhelming time at Palace, where he boasts just one goal from 20 appearances in all competitions.
The 24-year-old was supposedly set to join Bundesliga side RB Leipzig this week, but the report claims that Sorloth's medical with the German outfit has been postponed at the last minute.
Sorloth is contracted to Crystal Palace until the end of the 2021-22 campaign.
