Ruthless Houston Dynamo ease past DC United

Houston Dynamo move to the top of the MLS Eastern Conference thanks to a 4-0 win at DC United.

Houston Dynamo have moved to the top of the MLS Eastern Conference with a comfortable 4-0 win at DC United.

The visitors took the lead on 16 minutes when Will Bruin burst forward before calmly dinking the ball over goalkeeper Bill Hamid.

Houston doubled their advantage midway through the half as Giles Barnes converted from close range following a botched clearance from Hamid.

Bruin scored again with 12 minutes to play when he tapped in following a free kick, while Andrew Driver sealed the victory in the 90th minute.
