Crystal Palace reject Bolton Wanderers' bid for their highly-rated winger Wilfried Zaha.

Crystal Palace have rejected an offer from Bolton Wanderers for their highly-rated winger Wilfried Zaha.

The 19-year-old, a product of the Eagles' academy, has attracted interest from a host of Premier League clubs, including Newcastle United and Liverpool.

Although Owen Coyle confirmed that Bolton had made a "fair" offer for the player on Monday, the Championship club - who recently tied Zaha to a new deal - feel that they are under no pressure to sell the youngster and have rejected what they consider a derisory offer.

"We have made an offer, but I don't think it is to the value that the Crystal Palace [co-chairman Steve Parish] wants," admitted the Bolton boss.

"I always put what I think is a fair value on a player and if we get to it, great. If we don't, then we have to accept that we are not going to pay what we would believe would be over the odds.

"We would love for that to come to fruition, but at the moment it looks as if we are a way apart in terms of valuation."

Zaha has scored five goals in 32 appearances this season and impressed in Palace's run to the Carling Cup semi-final.
