Neil Warnock questions Football Association misconduct charge

Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock feels as though he has been singled out following his Football Association misconduct fine.

Neil Warnock has claimed that he finds it "difficult to understand" the Football Association's decision to charge him following comments made regarding referee Craig Pawson.

The Crystal Palace manager criticised the performance of the match officials in his side's 2-1 home loss to Chelsea last weekend.

Warnock was subsequently charged for misconduct, although he feels as if he has been singled out.

"There have been incidents over the last couple of weeks that, if it was Neil Warnock, I might have been charged," the 65-year-old is quoted as saying by the Daily Star.

"I have seen managers say things that I thought were way out of order and they haven't had a charge. So it's difficult to understand how they come about the charges."

Warnock has until 6pm on October 27 to respond to the charge.
