Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew is hopeful that Mile Jedinak will not face any punishment from the Football Association for his conduct at Upton Park on Saturday afternoon.
The midfielder appeared to elbow West Ham United striker Diafra Sakho in the head - an incident that went unseen by referee Mike Dean.
Rumours have suggested that the Australian will be banned retrospectively, but Pardew does not believe that the governing will take action.
"Nothing has happened. I would be surprised if something happens with this as it stands," he told reporters.
"But, the media have highlighted it and we'll have to see where it goes."
The Palace captain will be suspended for four matches if found guilty of violent conduct.
