Keith Millen: 'Crystal Palace players focused'

Keith Millen says that there will be "no excuses" for Crystal Palace ahead of this weekend's meeting with West Ham United, despite numerous off-field issues.

Crystal Palace caretaker manager Keith Millen has insisted that his players are feeling "serious and focused" ahead of this weekend's Premier League clash against West Ham United.

The Eagles have faced a tough week off the field, with manager Tony Pulis leaving the club ahead of the new campaign, while sporting director Iain Moody stood down from his position earlier today.

Despite the disruptions, Millen says that there will be "no excuses" when it comes to facing the Hammers at Selhurst Park on Saturday.

"On the training field the lads have been fine - they're serious and focused and we haven't changed too much tactically," the former Bristol City coach told reporters.

"We've done our homework on West Ham as we know we've got a tough game so the setup is here - there's no excuses."

Palace kicked off their season with a narrow 2-1 defeat against Arsenal.
