Report: Glenn Hoddle on three-man Crystal Palace shortlist

Former England boss Glenn Hoddle reportedly joins Tim Sherwood and Malky Mackay on Steve Parish's three-man shortlist to become the new manager of Crystal Palace.

Glenn Hoddle has apparently been added to a three-man shortlist of candidates to become the new manager of Premier League side Crystal Palace.

Eagles co-chairman Steve Parish has already interviewed Tim Sherwood and Malky Mackay over the vacancy caused by the shock resignation of Tony Pulis last week.

The Independent claims that Parish is keen to speak to former England manager Hoddle before making a decision on Palace's next permanent boss, with Keith Millen currently in caretaker charge.

The Selhurst Park club would have to receive permission from Queens Park Rangers before approaching the 56-year-old, who took a coaching job assisting Harry Redknapp at Loftus Road earlier this month.

Hoddle has not worked in full-time management since leaving Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2006, but has previous experience in the dugout with Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Southampton.
