Atletico Mineiro host second-placed Bahia in Sunday's round seven Brasileiro encounter at Arena MRV.
The hosts could move a point behind the away side in the embryonic table with a win, and they have reason to be confident after their five-win-in-six Copa Libertadores group stage.
We say: Atletico Mineiro 1-0 Bahia
Despite keeping a glut of clean sheets in all competitions in the lead-up to Sunday's game, Bahia could come unstuck against an Atletico Mineiro team that have thrived for months on their turf, keen to win a seventh league clash in front of their fans in eight attempts.

Vasco da Gama will resume their Brasileiro campaign when they host Flamengo at the Maracana on Sunday evening.
The home side ended a four-match losing streak with a win over Vitoria in their last league outing, also ending a three-match winless run.
We say: Vasco da Gama 0-2 Flamengo
Flamengo are the clear favorites in this one and their quality speaks for itself. The visitors have dominated this fixture in recent times and we expect them to continue their unbeaten streak against the hosts.

Criciuma vs. Palmeiras (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Criciuma will look to continue their positive start to the Brasileiro season when they take on Palmeiras at Estadio Heriberto Hulse on Sunday night.
The hosts have only played three games this season and have earned five points to date, while the visitors have taken eight points from their first six fixtures.
We say: Criciuma 1-1 Palmeiras
After ending last season as the league's top scorers, Palmeiras have found league goals hard to come by this term and will have to make do without two of their forwards here, with Lopez and Endrick suspended.
Having taken four points in two games against Vasco da Gama and Atletico Mineiro, Criciuma have shown they are more than capable of getting results in the top flight, and we feel they will be able to earn a share of the points in this one.

Sao Paulo vs. Cruzeiro (Sunday, 10.30pm)
© Reuters
Gamweek seven in Brasileiro will see two in-form sides face off, with Sao Paulo playing host to Cruzeiro at MorumBIS on Sunday night.
Both sides come into this match off the back of midweek cup victories and will be looking to carry that momentum into the domestic league competition.
We say: Sao Paulo 1-0 Cruzeiro
Under new management, both these sides are enjoying an excellent run of form and could end this weekend in the top four. However, Sao Paulo's home record this season is hard to overlook, and while Cruzeiro are unbeaten in their last three away games, they were fairly unconvincing when they played Atletico Mineiro, who have been their toughest away opponent so far this term.
As a result, while we are expecting a very close contest here, we feel the hosts will be able to edge the result by a slender one-goal margin.

Fortaleza vs. Athletico PR (Sunday, 10.30pm)
© Reuters
The final match of gameweek seven in Brasileiro will come from Estadio Municipal Presidente Getulio Vargas, where Fortaleza will play host to Athletico Paranaense on Sunday night.
Fortaleza are in mid-table with seven points after five games heading into this match, while the visitors were sitting atop the table with 13 points when the league was halted earlier this month.
We say: Fortaleza 1-1 Athletico Paranaense
While Athletico Paranaense have raced to the top of the league standings, there are still a few question marks about whether they will be able to sustain that level of performance, especially given their average away record.
Fortaleza have certainly not set the league alight this term, but they have maintained an unbeaten league record after five games, and we feel they will take a share of the spoils from this one as well.
