Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that he is delighted to have kept hold of his young players in the summer transfer window.
Strikers Callum Wilson and Leon Clarke have scored 10 goals between them to help the Sky Blues to take eight points from their first five league matches.
The duo had reportedly attracted interest from other clubs and Pressley has expressed his delight that the pair have remained at Coventry.
He told the club's official website: "My main concern leading up towards the end of the transfer window was keeping hold of our young players.
"We managed to do that despite having several offers on players and a lot of interest on several members of our squad.
"I'm delighted that we have been able to see the window through without losing anybody and that is a real positive going forward this season."
The Sky Blues drew 1-1 with Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.
