Chris Eagles training with Coventry City

Chris Eagles begins training with Coventry City in a bid to earn a deal with the League One club.

Coventry City have confirmed that Chris Eagles is training with the club.

The former Manchester United winger has been a free agent since the end of last season when he was released by Championship outfit Charlton Athletic.

However, the 29-year-old has now been offered the chance to earn himself a contract with the League One Sky Blues.

Having made 17 appearances for Man United in all competitions, Eagles went on to have spells with the likes of Watford, Burnley and Bolton Wanderers.
