After being knocked out of the Copa Argentina via penalties in midweek Colon shall be out for revenge on Saturday when they face Huracan in league action.
The visitors have picked up the same number of points as their opponents during the second phase of the Argentine Primera Division, and currently find themselves in the top half of the overall table.
Match preview
Colon were able to enjoy a distraction from league football in midweek as they faced Patronato in the Copa Argentina, but it did not prove to be a welcome one when all was said and done.
Despite the fact that Ramon Abila had given them the lead in the 56th minute, an equaliser from Alexander Sosa forced the game to a penalty shootout, where they ultimately fell short.
This continued their difficult run of form as of late, with Julio Falcioni's men having won just once in their previous six performances in all competitions.
That is the type of form they shall be looking to turn around immediately in order to not risk falling further down the overall league table, where they currently sit 17th.
Colon have won just four matches in the division this season, but they have also only lost five times, with their major problem being the fact nine of their games have resulted in a draw.
The visitors have lost more times this season, but because they have been able to earn a higher number of victories they are reaping the benefits of sitting in midtable right now.
Huracan are currently 13th in the overall table, and a win at the weekend has the potential of pushing them up two places depending on other results this weekend.
Their past two outings have led to them sharing the points, with a goalless draw against Atletico Tucuman being their previous result, which they will now be aiming to improve upon.
Despite their lack of victories recently, Huracan are enjoying a three-match unbeaten run which has provided confidence to the team while helping them start the second phase with strength.
Defensively Diego Dabove's men have let in 22 goals to this point, but with only a -2 goal difference, they do have one of the best records for teams around them.

Team News
Colon were able to welcome back Paolo Goltz in their recent cup defeat, which was a welcome boost to their defensive setup, and he is likely to remain in the team this weekend.
Cristian Vega has been absent lately though due to a knee issue, and once again that could be the case for the hosts as he works his way back to full fitness.
Cesar Ibanez was not used in Huracan's recent goalless draw after being replaced in the previous match due to an injury, and he will be a question mark in terms of fitness for this weekend.
The 4-3-3 formation will likely be displayed again though, with this working to provide balance both offensively and defensively to the squad overall.
Colon possible starting lineup:
Chicco; Meza, Garces, Goltz, Teuten; Lertora, Bernardi, Aleindro, Rodriguez; Farias, Abila
Huracan possible starting lineup:
Chavez; Soto, Galvan, Merolla, Perez; Hezze, Fattori, Cristaldo; Garre, Cabral, Coccaro
We say: Colon 0-2 Huracan
Colon are able to boast the home advantage for this particular fixture, and their fans will have a huge role to play in trying to cheer their team on to better results than they have seen to this point of the season.
Unfortunately, they are likely to be treated to another defeat with the visitors having proven themselves to be a stronger outfit overall this campaign.
