Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal will miss Chile's friendly international against England on Friday due to a thigh injury.

The South American nation's medical team detected a strain on the 26-year-old's right thigh that will keep him out of action for 14 days.

Vidal has now been released from international duty and sent back to Turin to recover from the problem.

The former Bayer Leverkusen midfielder will now discuss the treatment on his thigh with the Juventus medical staff.
