Chesterfield pair Jay O'Shea and Ollie Banks have signed new contracts with the club until the end of next season.
O'Shea, 27, joined the Spireites from MK Dons in 2013 following a loan spell at the Proact Stadium.
Meanwhile, 22-year-old Banks arrived at Chesterfield in the same year from FC United of Manchester.
"I made it clear I was keen to keep them and I'm delighted they've signed," manager Dean Saunders told the club's official website.
Chesterfield continue their League One campaign on Saturday when they host Rochdale.
