Belgium midfielder Kevin De Bruyne believes that his understanding with Eden Hazard could be a big hit at Stamford Bridge if he is given the chance to play for Chelsea.

Belgium midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has declared that his understanding with Eden Hazard can become a hit with club and country for years to come.

De Bruyne is currently on loan at Werder Bremen and remains unsure over his future at Chelsea for now.

Hazard has been a big hit at Stamford Bridge in his debut season and De Bruyne believes that he could link up with his international teammate to deadly effect in the Premier League.

He told The Sun: "I love to play with Eden, I know him already. We played together for a long time in the youth national team at the same age.

"International football is a very high level so I think you can compare it with Chelsea.

"All the players in our national team also play in big clubs in England and all over the world. So you can compare it."

Both players were on target for Belgium last weekend as they recorded a 2-0 win over Macedonia in a World Cup qualifier.
