Kevin De Bruyne admits that he does not know whether Chelsea would want him back from his loan spell at Werder Bremen in the summer.

Kevin De Bruyne has admitted that he is not certain where he will play next season.

The Belgium international midfielder's loan deal with Werder Bremen will end at the end of the season after which he is expected to return to his parent club Chelsea.

"I want to show everyone at Chelsea that I can play there," he told Sky Sports News.

"But at the moment I don't know what Chelsea want to do with me, so it's difficult to say what's going to happen with me in the next year, or years. I have to just wait."

De Bruyne joined Chelsea from Genk in January last year.
