Wolfsburg have confirmed that Romelu Lukaku is among a number of players that they are interested in signing this summer.
The Chelsea striker has spent the last two seasons on loan at other Premier League clubs, and has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer.
When asked about the side's interest in the Belgian, general manager Klaus Allofs told Wolfsburger Nachrichten: "Of course, but we also have other names in mind. We are to sign a striker this summer and we have to wait and see which deal will be feasible in the end."
Lukaku, who scored during Belgium's 2-0 friendly win over Sweden last night, has insisted that he is keen to remain with Chelsea.
