Venezia to sign Chelsea youngster Harvey St Clair?

Italian side Venezia reportedly win the race to sign Chelsea youngster Harvey St Clair, who has not made a first-team appearance for the Blues.

Harvey St Clair has reportedly decided to leave Chelsea this summer in order to sign a long-term deal with Venezia.

The 19-year-old has spent time in the Blues' second-string setup this season, with four appearances being made during the club's run to the Checkatrade Trophy semi-finals.

However, the midfielder is yet to come into contention for the first team and according to the Daily Mail, that has led to the possibility of a switch to Italy.

Venezia have just missed out on promotion to Serie A, but the club could challenge for the second-tier title next season, having finished in fifth place during this campaign.

The Scotland Under-21 international has allegedly turned down interest from both Watford and Zenit St Petersburg.
