Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer rumours, including Che Adams to Leeds United, Maxwel Cornet to Newcastle and Samuel Umtiti to Olympiacos.

Leeds United are reportedly interested in signing Southampton forward Che Adams this summer.

The 26-year-old has scored 21 goals in 110 appearances for the Saints since his arrival from Birmingham City in 2019, including 20 strikes in the Premier League.

Leeds are said to be looking to sign at least one striker before the end of the transfer window, and according to The Sun, the Whites are showing a keen interest in Adams.

The report claims that Jesse Marsch's side believe that an offer in the region of £10m would be considered, and the Scotland international is said to be willing to discuss terms with the Premier League club.

Meanwhile, Newcastle United have reportedly been in touch with Burnley to discuss a move for Maxwel Cornet before the end of the transfer window.

The Magpies have signed three new players this summer, bringing in Sven Botman, Nick Pope and Matt Targett, but more are expected to arrive ahead of the deadline.

Cornet's future has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks, with a number of clubs said to be keen to bring him back to the Premier League.

According to 90min, Newcastle have been in contact with Burnley, although the Magpies are yet to submit an official offer for the attacker, who was left out of his side's Championship clash with Huddersfield Town on Friday.

Cornet, also linked with West Ham United, Everton and Chelsea, scored nine goals and registered two assists in 29 appearances for the Clarets last season.

Elsewhere, over in Spain, Barcelona are reportedly hoping to offload Samuel Umtiti to Olympiacos.

The centre-back is not in Xavi's plans for the 2022-23 campaign, and he is widely expected to leave the Catalan giants before the end of the window.

A number of clubs have been linked with the Frenchman, but according to ESPN, Barcelona are set to meet with Olympiacos early next week to discuss a possible loan move.

Umtiti, 28, only made one appearance at club level last season, but he still has four years left to run on his contract, having penned an extension in January of this year.

Manchester United and Arsenal had previously been linked with the defender, but he is not believed to be on the radar of either club at this moment in time.

Meanwhile, according to Football Insider, Aston Villa are in advanced discussions with Douglas Luiz over a new contract at the club.

The Brazilian's future has been the subject of much speculation this summer, with Newcastle thought to be interested in bringing him to St James' Park.

Villa had allegedly been open to the midfielder departing, but it is now understood that Luiz is close to penning a new long-term contract with Steven Gerrard's side.

The 24-year-old was a key player for his English club during the 2021-22 campaign, making 35 appearances in all competitions, while he has represented them on 111 occasions since arriving from Manchester City.
