Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean has insisted that Martin Olsson is not for sale and that he is determined to keep the defender.
Olsson has attracted the interest of a number of Premier League clubs, with Southampton, Stoke City and Chelsea all linked with a move for the Swedish international.
Kean told Sky Sports News: "The way it worked with Martin was when he was away, there was a lot of interest in him, I have said to him we want him to play.
"I have said we want to keep him and look at extending his contract, there were clubs who enquired and we have said that he is not for sale."
The 24-year-old played for his country at Euro 2012 but is struggling to be fit for the new season following a groin operation.
