Roma boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly considering whether to move for Harry Winks and Ruben Loftus-Cheek in January.
Despite the Italian giants sitting in fourth position in the Serie A standings, Mourinho's side have lost five of their last 10 games in all competitions.
The Portuguese has also criticised the quality of the backup members of his squad, a stance which will inevitably lead to changes at the turn of the year.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Mourinho may explore the possibility of signing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Winks and Chelsea playmaker Loftus-Cheek.
A deal for the latter is highly unlikely due to his role in the Blues squad, but Winks has been out of favour at Spurs since the start of August.
Real Madrid pair Nacho and Dani Ceballos are also said to feature on Mourinho's shortlist.
