Chelsea have not made a bid for Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao, according to reports.

Atletico Madrid have reportedly not received a bid from Chelsea for Colombian striker Radamel Falcao, despite reports suggesting that the Blues had submitted a £45m offer.

The 26-year-old, who has scored eight goals in five games this season, has emerged into one of the best strikers in world football.

It had been understood that Chelsea had identified the striker as their top target, but according to Sky Sports News, no offer has been made.

Meanwhile, it is unlikely that Madrid would consider a bid for their star player.
