Report: Alexandre Pato's arrival could trigger Loic Remy's move to Crystal Palace

Alexandre Pato's potential move to Chelsea could reportedly trigger Loic Remy's loan switch to Crystal Palace.

Crystal Palace are reportedly close to signing Loic Remy from Chelsea on loan, but are waiting on the potential arrival of Alexandre Pato to Stamford Bridge.

Recent reports have claimed that Pato, who has also been linked to Liverpool and Newcastle United, has agreed to sign for the Blues from Brazilian side Corinthians.

Palace are believed to be keen to recruit Remy as they have failed to score in their last six Premier League games.

According to The Mirror, Pato is expected to arrive at Chelsea within the next 48 hours, which could trigger Remy's loan move to Selhurst Park.

The report adds that the Eagles have agreed a deal in principle with Emmanuel Adebayor if they fail to land their preferred target.
