Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell could become Chelsea's highest-paid player once he officially joins the club, according to a report.

Ben Chilwell is reportedly in line to earn a mammoth £190,000-a-week salary at Chelsea once completing his move from Leicester City.

The left-back could become a Chelsea player before the end of the week, with a medical believed to be scheduled for the next 48 hours.

Leicester are said to have accepted a £50m bid from their Premier League rivals and, according to The Telegraph, personal terms have been finalised.

Chelsea could make Chilwell their highest-paid player, it is claimed, ahead of the likes of fellow newbies Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.

Chilwell has been left out of England's latest squad due to a heel injury, but the Blues supposedly have no concerns over the severity of the issue.
