Barcelona reportedly open talks with Chelsea and Liverpool for David Luiz and Daniel Agger respectively.

Reports in Spain have once again linked Barcelona with moves for David Luiz and Daniel Agger.

The Blaugrana have been in the market for a new centre-back this summer, but missed out on their top target Thiago Silva, who looks certain to remain at Paris Saint-Germain.

Luiz and Agger have also been rumoured targets, although new coach Gerardo Martino reportedly distanced himself from any potential bids.

However, Mundo Deportivo claims that the Catalan giants have now entered into negotiations with Chelsea and Liverpool, with Luiz believed to be top priority.

It is believed that the Brazilian international could cost around €40m (£34.7m), whereas Agger would command a fee of around €25m (£21.7m).
