Manchester City and Chelsea are both vying for the signature of Ajax teenager Christian Eriksen.

Manchester City and Chelsea will battle it out for the signature of Ajax teenager Christian Eriksen.

Chelsea have offered £22m for the Danish midfielder, but City are ready to put a £30m offer on the table for the midfielder, according to the Daily Mail.

The two clubs reportedly had officials at Ajax's Champions League tie against Dynamo Kiev last Tuesday to watch the 19-year-old.

Eriksen was the youngest player to feature at last year's World Cup finals in South Africa.
