Liverpool are reportedly interested in a January loan deal for Chelsea misfit Daniel Sturridge.
The 23-year-old, who had enjoyed a regular spot in the first team under Andre Villas-Boas, has found himself out in the cold following Roberto Di Matteo's appointment at Stamford Bridge in March.
The Reds are currently in the midst of an attacking crisis, with Luis Suarez being the only fit striker at Anfield.
According to The Mirror, Liverpool are unwilling to pay £20m for the forward, but still want to take him on loan with a view to a permanent deal.
The England international has made just two substitute appearances this season and is believed to be considering his options.
