Mateo Kovacic has reportedly decided that he is open to remaining in the Premier League past the end of this season.
Chelsea secured a season-long loan deal for the Real Madrid midfielder in August, and the 24-year-old has gone on to make 29 starts and 11 substitute outings in all competitions.
However, Chelsea may not be able to push through a permanent transfer for the Croatia international due to FIFA handing the Blues a two-window ban.
The West Londoners have appealed their punishment, but according to Marca, Kovacic would still be keen on spending more time in England's top flight regardless of the outcome.
The report suggests that Kovacic would prefer to stay at Stamford Bridge, but the player is prepared to sign for another club if there is sufficient interest.
Kovacic has just over two years left on his contract at the Bernabeu.
