Juventus move to end Chelsea's interest in Alex Sandro?

Juventus are reportedly prepared to double the wages of Alex Sandro in an attempt to end Chelsea's interest in the defender.

Juventus have reportedly decided that they are prepared to double the wages of defender Alex Sandro.

Throughout the summer, Sandro was a target for Chelsea and although Juventus were successful in keeping hold of the left-back, there has been talk of renewed interest from the Blues.

Chelsea are allegedly prepared to spend as much as £60m in order to complete a signing regarded as high priority by head coach Antonio Conte, but according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are ready to respond with an offer of their own.

The Serie A giants are said to be ready to give the Brazilian a package of €5m (£4.5m) per year, as well as a contract which would be extended until 2022.

The 26-year-old has scored six times in 81 appearances since leaving Porto for Juve in 2015.
