Chelsea legend John Terry will reportedly hang up his playing boots this summer and take up a punditry position with Sky Sports.
The 37-year-old won five Premier League titles, four FA Cups, three League Cups, the Europa League and Champions League during his two decades at Stamford Bridge.
Terry left for pastures new 12 months ago, dropping down a division to represent Aston Villa in the Championship, but the club's failure to secure promotion back to the top flight meant that the centre-back had to be cut loose.
Despite training with Chelsea in an attempt to maintain his fitness levels, The Mirror claims that Terry does not intend to join a new team.
The report suggests that the ex-England international will also hold off long-term plans to go into coaching as Sky Sports are seeking a replacement for Thierry Henry, who is now focusing on a career in management.
