Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech is reportedly still trying to push through a deadline day move to Paris Saint-Germain after talks hit a roadblock.
The Morocco international has only been on the fringes of the Blues team this term and will be allowed to leave following the signings of Noni Madueke, Mykhaylo Mudryk and Joao Felix.
AC Milan were initially expected to take Ziyech to Italy before talks apparently broke down over the attacker's wage demands, but PSG have since entered the picture.
The French champions were understood to be closing in on the signing of the former Ajax man, who remains under contract at Stamford Bridge until the end of the 2024-25 season.
However, the Daily Mail claims that an unspecified obstacle threatened to jeopardise Ziyech's loan move to PSG after the winger had already touched down in the French capital for his medical.
The 29-year-old is still determined to seal a switch to the Parc des Princes, but the next few hours will be crucial to determining whether a deal can be revived.
Ziyech has started just four Premier League games for Chelsea this season, and his only goal contribution across all tournaments was an assist for Kai Havertz's winner against Crystal Palace on January 15.
