Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has indicated that he would give strong consideration to joining Borussia Dortmund this summer.
The Belgian international has returned to the Blues following a season-long loan stint with West Bromwich Albion, where he scored 17 goals in the Premier League.
He has been linked with another switch away from Stamford Bridge and while he has rejected reports of a transfer to Tottenham Hotspur, the 20-year-old has opened the door for Dortmund to make their move.
"I'll start the season with Chelsea. Then I will speak with management to discuss the best choice. I am a realist," he told Extra Time. "I still need to grow and for that I need to have time to play during the next season.
"Departure to Tottenham? No this is not possible because it is a direct competitor to Chelsea. Departure to Germany? Schalke 04 and Dortmund? Dortmund would be a good choice, especially as the club can still win the Champions League."
Lukaku signed for Chelsea from Anderlecht in the summer of 2011.
