Thibaut Courtois has agreed terms with Real Madrid and is in Spain waiting for Chelsea to ratify his transfer, according to reports.
The Belgium goalkeeper is entering the final year of his Blues contract and has so far offered no indication that he will extend his stay at Stamford Bridge.
Courtois, who has previously stated that his "heart is in Madrid" due to his children living there, has been linked with the Bernabeu outfit for a number of months.
According to Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws, the former Atletico Madrid loanee's move back to the Spanish capital is nearing completion, with the player having already agreed a five-year contract.
Courtois has been at Stamford Bridge since 2011.
