Chelsea ace Andreas Christensen a £20m target for Barcelona?

Barcelona are reportedly looking to bring Andreas Christensen to Camp Nou as early as January after the Chelsea youngster impressed in a recent Champions League tie.

Chelsea are bracing themselves for a £20m bid from Barcelona for youngster Andreas Christensen, according to a report.

The 20-year-old defender has only been handed a couple of appearances in West London and is currently in the second and final year of his loan spell with Borussia Monchengladbach.

Christensen has impressed at the German club so far, producing a standout display in the recent meeting with Barca in the Champions League which has reportedly piqued the interest of Luis Enrique.

It is claimed by The Sun that the Danish ace could head for Camp Nou in the next transfer window, with Barcelona keen to bring another ball-playing centre-half to the club as a long-term replacement for Gerard Pique.

Christensen joined Chelsea from Brondby as a 16-year-old in 2012, moving through the Blues' academy ranks and into the Under-21s side but failing to truly break into the first-team fold, and recently admitted that he is unsure where is future lies.
