Chelsea youngster Jeremie Boga loaned to Rennes

Chelsea allow midfielder Jeremie Boga to sign a one-year loan deal with Ligue 1 club Rennes.

Chelsea midfielder Jeremie Boga has signed a one-year loan contract with Rennes.

The 18-year-old is regarded as one of the most promising young talents at Stamford Bridge, but he is yet to make a senior debut with the Blues.

However, he has been allowed to continue his development in France with Rennes, who are currently sitting in third place in the Ligue 1 table.

Boga was one of two players to depart Chelsea on a temporary basis last night, with Lucas Piazon penning a similar deal with Championship outfit Reading.
