Chelsea will reportedly allow Frank Lampard to leave the club, as long as he does not join a Premier League rival.

Chelsea are reportedly prepared to let Frank Lampard leave the club, as long as he does not join a Premier League rival.

Manchester United were linked with a move for the midfielder earlier this week, although manager Sir Alex Ferguson dismissed the speculation.

The 33-year-old could instead move to Paris Saint-Germain to be reunited with former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti, according to The People.

Lampard's relationship with current Blues manager Andre Villas-Boas is thought to have broken down after being left out of the starting lineup for a number of recent games.
