Chelsea 'sign Abdul Rahman Baba from Augsburg'

Chelsea allegedly sign Ghana defender Abdul Rahman Baba from Augsburg.

Chelsea have reportedly completed the signing of Augsburg defender Abdul Rahman Baba in a deal worth £21.7m.

The Ghana international has joined the Blues on a five-year contract and is about to undergo a medical at Stamford Bridge, according to the Daily Star.

The Blues are said to have paid £14m up front for Baba, with the transfer fee rising depending on appearances and the player's performance.

Baba is expected to challenge Cesar Azpilicueta for the left-back position at Chelsea.
